Elisabeth Heathfield

Elisabeth Heathfield is a ceramic artist who loves to work with colour and texture. Her background in drawing and painting compels her to regard each piece of clay as a canvas, a vessel made to carry a story. Her passion for abstraction can be seen in her whimsical approach to surface decoration. Elisabeth enjoys scratching, painting and making marks on clay to create playful pieces that range from the functional to the absurd. Elisabeth Has a B.F.A in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University, an MFA from Norwich University of the Arts and a certificate in Ceramics from Haliburton School of Art and Design.
