Ted Jolda
Ted has been blowing glass since 1985. While recuperating from a broken leg, he began exploring the art of glass blowing. He soon discovered he had a talent in this area and went on to study at Sheridan College, School of Crafts and Design. After completing his 3-year program, Ted opened a studio in Vancouver, where he worked for 5 years. He travelled to Australia where he worked and studied with noted glass artist David Wright; a very inspirational experience. He then went on to work with other glass artists throughout the world.
His works have graced the tables of royalty, heads of state and other fine homes. Jolda has exhibited in many shows worldwide and has earned many honours and awards. The colour, shape, and special materials have been brought together to make an object of beauty that will last a lifetime.
