Julia is a glass artist who graduated from Sheridan College in 2006 with a Crafts and Design Diploma in Glass; she also has a B.A. from McMaster University. Specializing in both blowing and etching glass, she marries function with form, adding two-dimensional imagery to her bowls and vases. For Julia, glass “allows me to reflect my love of light and colour, as well as my interest in the natural world.” She is a member of the Glass Art Society, the Ontario Crafts Council and Glen Williams Glass, a co-operative studio located outside of Georgetown, Ontario.
