Aggie Beynon, received a BA in English at the University of Waterloo in 1975 and received a BFA, in the Design Department at the University of Kansas in 1982. Assisted by two Nunemaker Research Awards, Beynon developed a patentable metal process of combining powdered metals, to form a textured metal (results published in Metalsmith, 1982) - a process she has and continues to experiment with to create jewellery.
