Work with artist Claire Nicole Waddick to create a clay slab vase inspired by vases in the permanent collection at the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery.

This is a two-part workshop with a total of 6 hours of instruction and studio time.

Part 1: Tuesday September 20, 6-9pm
Construct your vase using leather hard slabs of clay. Select from templates or design your own striking silhouette (max 9" high).

Part 2: Wednesday September 21, 6-9pm
Decorate your vase using underglaze and learn how to make DIY underglaze transfers.

Includes:

  • 6 hours of instruction and studio time
  • All materials, clay, underglaze, and use of tools
  • Kiln firing and glazing by studio team
