Collection: Rhonda Uppington

Rhonda has a degree in biochemistry from the University of Guelph and worked for a pharmaceutical company after graduating. During summer vacations she took week-long intensive art courses at the Haliburton School of the Arts at Sir Sandford Fleming College that exposed her to many new mediums through which she could express herself artistically. Elements from the natural world find their way into many of her pieces. Exploring the world through photography provides a wealth of visual stimulation and reference material. Rhonda works at home pursuing her inner desire to create and make art. In 2014, she became a Studio Member of the Pine Tree Potters’ Guild in Aurora, so much of her clay work and firings are now done there.
