Garth Clark is a leading art critic and historian, curator, gallerist, and art dealer from Pretoria, South Africa who writes about modern and contemporary ceramic art as well as the craft movement. With his partner Mark Del Vecchio, he co-founded and ran the Garth Clark Gallery in New York City, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and London, UK. Together, Garth and Mark are responsible for over 500 exhibitions of contemporary ceramic art, launching numerous careers.

After five decades in the field, Garth Clark remains a provocative, witty voice, now encouraging a new controversial wave in the field.
